PRACTICE TIMES

August 9 First Practice for sophomores, juniors and seniors 7am in the Criss Auditorium Ride pickup 9:00 a.m.

August 10-13 Practice at 7 a.m. Ride pickup at 8:30 a.m. for sophomores, juniors, and seniors

August 9 and 10 Practice at 2:00 p.m. for freshmen. Meet in the Criss Auditorium. Ride pickup at 4:30 p.m.

August 11-13 Freshman practice is at 2:45. Meet at the Bell Tower. 

Prep wins both freshman and sophomore divisions.

Prep finishes 2nd out of 6 teams at Pioneers Park  On the state October 23.

All seven runners for Prep medaled: Jack Schembari 4th, Dennis Chapman 7th,  John Burns 9th, Henry Slagle 10th, Ethan Weber 11th, Alex Davis 12th, Jack Cavlovic 13th.

Freshman Dennis Chapman ran the fastest 5K ever run by a Prep freshman at Pioneers Park.

Prep finishes 3rd out of 12 teams.

Henry Slagle earns 11th place medal.

Jack Schembari earns 14th place medal.

Prep JV finishes 2nd out of 8 teams. Medalists are Alex Davis 18:18, 3rd, John Kubat 18:29, 5th, Tyler Diesing 18:43, 8th, Jackson Morris 18:45, 9th, James Chapman 19:08, 13th, and Tyler Reidy 19:12, 14th.

John Schembari was 4th place finisher in the varsity race. Followed by Denny Chapman  6th, Henry Slagle 10th, John Burns, 12th, and Alex Davis 15th. 

Denny Chapman's time of 16.34 set an all-time Prep freshman record of fastest time on any course!

Prep won the JV meet with Cade Neubauer finishing 1st, Presden Sanches 2nd, Ethan Sibbernsen 4th, Michael Combs 5th, Noah Bangs 6th, Logan Ruch 7th, John Heine 8th, Max Lauritsen 9th, Andrew Sauer 11th, Drew Pick 13th, Jack Goltl 14th, Owen Jensen 15th

Creighton Prep varsity won the Westside Invitational on Saturday, August 29. There were four teams ranked in the preseason top 10 in the meet.  Henry Slagle led the team with a 2nd place finish in 16:18 followed by Jack Schembari 3rd with a time of 16:32. John Burns was the other Prep medalist finishing 7th in 16:40. Jack Cavlovic had a PR at 17:15 as did Alex Davis at 17:25. 

In the Junior Varsity meet Prep finished 2nd out of 6 teams with top 10 finishes from Leo McManus 18:23, Nathan Smith 18:27, Sam Malick 18:36, and Luke Murnane 18:42.
