Following is a listing of offerings for parents (current and graduate),
alumni, faculty, staff and spouses. Please check below if you would like
further information about any given area(s) or if you plan on attending
that event.
Parent Prayer Opportunity (Praying with St. Ignatius): This group
will meet the first Thursday of each month from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
in the Chapel. Material will be furnished each month for a 15-minute
individual daily prayer period based on the Spiritual Exercises of St.
Ignatius. Participants will share their insights and observations at
each monthly gathering. Guest speakers will make presentations on
occasion.
Parent Mass and Rosary Prayer Group: This group will meet the
second Thursday of each month, from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the
Chapel. The rosary will be prayed and prayers of thanksgiving and
petition will be offered for members of the Creighton Prep family -
students, parents (present and past), teachers, administrators, staff,
alumni, benefactors. The evening will conclude with celebration of the
Mass.
Single Parent Group: Presents opportunity to meet and share with
other single parents, hear interesting speakers, grow spiritually. This
group will meet the second Sunday of each month, with Mass in the Chapel
at 10:00 a.m. and a discussion in the Creighton Room from 11:00 a.m.
until 12:00 noon.
Spiritual Direction: Opportunity to see director, Fr. William
Doran, S.J., regularly (e.g., once a month) to discuss one’s spiritual
life. This program can help us find God in all things by seeing His love
in our daily lives and by enabling us to develop an ever deepening
personal relationship with our God.
