YOU’RE ABOUT TO TAKE
A BIG STEP FORWARD.

From middle school to Creighton Prep – it’s a big step forward. You’ll be glad you did because at Prep, you’ll have a chance to do things you’ve never tried before, make friends with people you’ve never met, have experiences you won’t forget and become the person you always knew you could be.

You’ll have an entire team of teachers, coaches, advisors, counselors and others who will support you in your success. The first step is to apply.

8th Grade Applicants

(for fall 2024 enrollment)

There are a few key steps to apply if you’re currently in the eighth grade and planning to attend Creighton Prep as a freshman in fall 2024.

Si prefiere hablar con alguien en Español, puede contactar a Jeni Martínez al (402) 548-3885.

1. Take the Prep 8th Grade Scholarship & Entrance Exam, Saturday, January 20 at 8 a.m.
(Exam date has been moved from Saturday, January 13 to Saturday, January 20 due to weather).

There is no fee to take the exam at Prep.

Click on the link below to sign up and a calendar will pop up. Select Saturday, January 13 and you'll see a form to submit your information.

Register for the exam.

2. Complete the online registration form. Follow the link before to create a parent portal account where you’re able to complete the application, submit important documents and keep track of your admissions checklist.

Create your Parent Portal Account.

3. Submit the Release of Records & Recommendation Form to your son’s current school (blue form provided at the Prep Entrance Exam). This authorizes the school to provide Prep with your son’s grades from 7th and 8th grade and the results of any standardized tests.

These are due to Prep by January 24, 2024. You’ll see this step marked complete in your Parent Portal Account when we have received these items.

4. Apply for an Income-Based Tuition adjustment (optional) by creating a FACTS account and completing the FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment form.

5. Watch for admissions decisions. Once all steps have been completed, admissions decisions will be sent via email and post the week of February 5, 2024.

Even if you’re not in 8th grade yet, you can get a head start by taking the 6th and 7th Grade Pre-Entrance Exam. It’s a great way to see what the test is like and practice before taking the test in 8th grade.

Register for the free 6th & 7th Grade Pre-Exam, Saturday, February 17 at 8 a.m.

At Creighton Prep, we do accept students who are transferring from another area school or who are just relocating to the Omaha metro from another area. After completing the steps below, applicants will be notified of admission on a case-by-case basis.

4. Once accepted, you may begin the process of applying for Income-Adjusted Tuition.

  • Semester transfers may be considered, but there is no guarantee of acceptance.
  • Students will not be accepted if they have been dismissed from their previous or current school.
  • Students should aim to have As or Bs to be considered for admission.
