President's Welcome

Dear Prospective Students,

Thank you for your interest in Creighton Preparatory School, the Jesuit high school of Omaha. We have a place for you at Creighton Prep.

What do you like to do? Do you like to write short stories, play sports, act in dramatic productions, participate on an academic decathlon team, make or lead a retreat, serve the needs of the poor, play chess or make a musical instrument sing? If you answered YES to any of the above activities, we have a place for you at Creighton Prep. We have activities to meet the interests of any young man of promise.

As the president of Creighton Preparatory School, I marvel at our boys. If you join our school community and our 131 year tradition in Jesuit education, you will marvel too. Our boys are creative and ingenious. They are intelligent and spiritual. They are great athletes and artists, and are leaders and servants of others. Most importantly, our boys become good men.

Generations of students have entered our school as boys, and they have left as men. Our graduates are well prepared for college and for life. Our graduates from the class of 2009 earned over $16.5 million in college scholarships. More importantly, they have lifelong friendships, a social network, a faith based education and they are poised to make a difference in the world.

The most important thing you can do in choosing a high school is to make a visit. Come to Creighton Prep. Sit in the classrooms, meet the teachers, and make friends with other young men who desire to make a difference in the world. I will look forward to your visit at Creighton Prep.
